What’s Happening Around Prescott in October: Cars, Dogs, Arts and Running

October Overdrive

October is bringing a broad mix of community events to Prescott, with activities planned around Watson Lake, Courthouse Plaza and downtown streets.

The month gets underway with Cruise to the Pines at Watson Lake October 1–3. The main car-show day is Saturday, October 3. The following day, October 4, Dogtoberfest is scheduled at Watson Lake.

Courthouse Plaza will host the Fall Arts & Craft Faire October 3–4. The City calendar lists the event alongside the other early-October activities.

On October 10, the Whiskey Row Marathon is scheduled for downtown streets. Later in the month, the City’s calendar also lists the Route 66 Centennial Auto Show for October 17.

For residents and visitors, the combination means October will offer several different kinds of community activity in a relatively short period: vehicles and outdoor recreation at Watson Lake, arts and crafts downtown, and a major running event on city streets.
