United Animal Friends is scheduled to receive support from a fundraiser at LazyG Brewhouse in Prescott on Oct. 14. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 220 W. Leroux St.
A percentage of all food sales at LazyG that day will be donated to United Animal Friends, according to the organization’s event listing. The fundraiser also will include a raffle basket, pet scarf sales and adoptable dogs.
### Fundraiser details
The event is designed to give people several ways to participate while visiting the brewpub. Guests can purchase food during the event, with part of those sales directed to United Animal Friends. Additional support can come through raffle participation and the purchase of pet scarves.
Adoptable dogs are also expected to be part of the event. The listing does not provide details about the individual dogs, adoption requirements or the number of animals that will be present, so people seeking that information should contact United Animal Friends or check with the organization directly.
LazyG’s patio is open to friendly dogs, according to the event information. That policy allows visitors with well-behaved dogs to bring them to the patio while attending the fundraiser. The listing does not specify additional pet rules, so guests may want to confirm any questions with the venue before arriving.
### When and where
The fundraiser will take place at LazyG Brewhouse, 220 W. Leroux Street, Prescott, Arizona 86303. The scheduled hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. LazyG’s listed phone number is 928-445-2994.
The event listing was posted by United Animal Friends on Sept. 20. It identifies the fundraiser as a United Animal Friends event and provides the LazyG Brewhouse location and contact number for venue information.
Because the donation is based on a percentage of food sales, the amount United Animal Friends receives will depend on the day’s qualifying food purchases. The listing does not state the percentage, identify which menu items qualify or provide a fundraising total.
### What visitors can expect
People attending can support the fundraiser by dining at LazyG during the scheduled hours. They may also find a raffle basket, pet scarves for sale and adoptable dogs at the venue. The event information does not include the raffle price, drawing time, scarf prices or payment details.
Visitors should plan around the posted 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. schedule and use the venue address when making arrangements. Those interested specifically in adopting a dog may wish to seek current information from United Animal Friends before the event, since the listing does not include animal profiles or adoption procedures.
The fundraiser offers Prescott residents a single-day opportunity to combine a visit to LazyG Brewhouse with several forms of support for United Animal Friends. More details about the raffle, pet scarves and adoptable dogs were not included in the announcement.
